To submit a proposal for a new task to be run at TRECVID, please use the following form as a guideline. There is no guarantee that a proposed task shall be accepted. All proposals will be reviewed by the program committee. We encourage that new tasks be strongly supported by task advocate/coordinator who is willing to take the lead and run the task; a large enough core of interested researchers to make the task viable; the availability of sufficient resources such as appropriate corpora and assessors with expertise in the area; and the fit with other tracks.
