The set of concept pairs to be tested this year has been chosen and added to the Guidelines. Thanks to Cees Snoek and his team as well as to Georges Quenot for their input. In addition, as noted in the Guidelines, we've built on a suggestion from the 2012 workshop and will accept and evaluate an additional, optional system output for each shot returned. This value will indicate which of the component shots occurs first in the shot; a "0" will indicate both concepts become visible simultaneously. Note that this does not change the rule that both concepts must appear together in at least one frame for the shot to be considered as containing the concept pair. This is the rule the NIST assessors will use in judging the system output, as they did last year. Please see the Guidelines for details... http://www-nlpir.nist.gov/projects/tv2013/tv2013.html#sin - Paul -- Paul Over National Institute of Standards and Technology Gaithersburg, MD 20899-8940 USA ---------------------------------------------- Retrieval Group Information Access Division Information Technology Laboratory Bldg. 225 Rm. There has been a correction to one of the master shot reference (mp7) files for IACC.2.B. A corrected version of the entire IACC.2.B set is now in the active participants' area: http://www-nlpir.nist.gov/projects/tv2013/active/iacc.2.master.shot.reference/ Or if you already have a copy and just want to replace the incorrect file, you can use the updated one attached. Still, it is giving me a hard time : The "fractions" in the .mp7.xml file do not match the frame rate of the corresponding .mp4 file. As a consequence, it is hard to translate the time codes to frames. (This is the only video in the IACC.2.* sets that has this mismatch.) Using a frame rate of 391140000 / 13039039 I was able to get a good result for the segmentation. Still, the use of the "magic" number 13039039 is a bit of a hack :-) Regards, Dennis Koelma University of Amsterdam On 11-4-2013 13:15, Paul Over wrote: > Hi, > > For participants using the IACC.2.B test data, that would be those > working on the progress option in semantic indexing... > > There has been a correction to one of the master shot reference > (mp7) files for IACC.2.B.
