(In what follows, the "Project" refers to TRECVID.) The understandings, terms and conditions apply equally to all or to part of the information: The Programming comprises video files hosted by the video sharing platform Vimeo (www.vimeo.com) as publicly available under one of the Creative Commons (www,creativecommons.org) licenses or designated as in the public domain. The Programming was downloaded by University of Basel during the first half of 2018 and is being made available as a convenience to participants in the Project for Project-related research. Given the nature of the V3C, it is impossible for us to review all the video files and to confirm the nature of the file or information in the archive. NIST does not actively monitor the contents of the archive and is not responsible for any files contained therein. Some files retrieved from the archive may contain objectionable material. NIST does not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any file, and is not responsible for the contents of any files. Any user who feels that a retrieved file is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately. We reserve the right to remove any file for any reason whatsoever. Each video file has a corresponding json file specifying various metadata information about the video including the License The Programming can only be used as specified by the License. If notified by NIST that a given video must be withdrawn (e.g. due to change in copyright status), the data holder will immediately destroy all instances of the video. The data holder will maintain all records necessary to carry out such an immediate deletion.
