tv11.check_copydetection.pl carries out some simple checks for invalid copy detection submissions. There is still room for errors which may invaliate your submission and results. You are responsible for tetecting and correcting any and all errors. Usage: tv11.check_copydetection.pl submission.filename When you submit your file you can call it anything you want. NIST will rename it to have the following form: orgID.m.Profile.RunID orgID, Profile, and RunID will be set based on your choices and input on the submission webpage. PLEASE NOTE, if you are testing apart from the submission webpage, you should create a file with a name of this form: orgID.m.Profile.RunID where - orgID can be anything you want for your team - RunType should be "m" for a+v - Profile should be "nofa" or "balanced" - RunID must match the run ID in your file When run from the commmand line, Messages are left in a file named the same as the submission file but with the extension ".errlog" nist.m.BALANCED.test is a test submission file with no errors. The submission system at NIST will run tv11.check_copydetection.pl against each submission file at the point in time it is submitted. If any errors are detected they will be displayed by the browser and the run will not be accepted. You may submit the run again as soon as the errors are corrected. If no errors are detected, the run will be accepted and a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at submission. Once successfully submitted, you cannot submit a replacement run again. NOTE: The durations and frame counts for the reference videos come from mplayer. Various decoders seem to agree on the framecount but less so on the duration presumably because they handle various "error" situations differently.
