Hi,

This is a reminder to all TRECVID participants about notebook
papers, copyright forms, speaker proposals, posters, demos,
and registration.

Below are the relevant deadlines from the schedule in the guidelines:

-----------------------------------------------------------------
4. October (by noon) - speaker proposals due at NIST

We hope many of you will be able to attend the workshop. If so,
you are *strongly* encouraged to propose a short talk about how your
system achieved its good results, why the interesting new approach
you tried did not work as expected, etc. See details here:
http://www-nlpir.nist.gov/projects/tv2013/speakerproposals.html

As the agenda will be posted by 11. Oct.; we cannot accept late
speaker proposals.

------------------------------------------------------------------
22. October - notebook papers and copyright forms due at NIST

ALL teams that submitted runs are expected to summarize their
experiments in a short paper for the workshop notebook. Take
advantage of the "structured abstract" to pack more information
into fewer words. See details here, including requirement to
submit a copyright form:
http://www-nlpir.nist.gov/projects/tv2013/notebookpapers.html

------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone may present a poster (~1 meter square) without notification.

Demos are very welcome. Table space and power will be available.
Internet hookups will be very limited in number - please email
darrin.dimmick at nist.gov before 31.Oct if you need Internet access
for your demo.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
General information about the workshop (20-22. Nov) is available
now and registration is open. Remember, attendance at the workshop
is limited to members of teams that submitted runs in at least one
task, representatives of sponsoring agencies, and data donors.

Looking forward to seeing many of you in November!

Thanks,
Paul
