[tv14.list] Use of video examples in instance search task

Hi,

For participants in the instance search task ...

As noted in the original draft Guidelines, this year each INS submission 
will
indicate (in the submission XML) what set of topic example images were used.
A set of submissions that vary ONLY in which set of examples were used will
be counted as 1 submission against the maximum total per team.

In response to discussion at last year's TRECVID workshop, we'll also 
provide
the master shot ID of the shot from which each image example was taken. 
This
is information a searcher and the search system would realistically have
access to when the searcher finds a person/object/place he or she wants
to locate more instances of.  Remember these shots will be filtered from
the submissions before evaluation anyway. Systems can choose to use these
videos as a source of examples images and other information rather than
just the image examples provided by NIST with the topic. This choice must
be indicated in the submission XML.

The guidelines have been changed to reflect this additional option:
