Hi,

This is for the AVS task participants:

The testing topics for:

- The 20 progress subtask topics/queries (running from 2019 to 2021)  (filename : trecvid.progress.avs.topics.txt)

- The 30 testing topics/queries for TV19 (filename : tv19.avs.topics.txt)

Are now available from the active participants area:

https://www-nlpir.nist.gov/projects/tv2019/active/AVS/

The first column in the above files denotes the topic/query ID. This is the ID that should be used

in your run submissions.

For the 20 progress topics/queries, 10 of them were chosen from the VBS (Video Browser Showdown) 2019 queries

and 10 are new chosen by NIST. The whole 20 topics/queries will be used from 2019 to 2021 as detailed in the guidelines

to measure system progress across 10 topics on 2 years (2019-2020) and the other 10 topics on 3 years (2019-2021).

Please remember to validate your runs before submitting and let us know if you have any questions, suggestions

or feedback about the task.

Important Dates:

July 24 : Run submissions due to NIST.

Aug 30 : Evaluated results sent back to participants

Oct  1 :   Speaker proposal due for TRECVID workshop

Oct 29  : Draft notebook papers due to NIST
