Dear TRECVID active participants,

This is a kind reminder of the coming deadlines and important dates to plan ahead for the TRECVID workshop on Nov. 12-13:

1- Speaker proposals are due on 1. October (https://www-nlpir.nist.gov/projects/tv2019/speakerproposals.html). A team can submit multiple proposals for different tasks they worked on. All teams are encouraged to also bring a poster to present during the poster session. Please consider submitting a talk proposal abstract. This is a great opportunity to talk about your systems and get feedback from other participants.

2- All teams who finished at least 1 task should plan to submit a notebook paper by 29. October (https://www-nlpir.nist.gov/projects/tv2019/notebookpapers.html). The notebook paper is considered "DRAFT" until the final version due March, 2020. This is usually for many teams a basis for another formal peer-reviewed paper in a conference or journal.

3- A copyright form ( https://www-nlpir.nist.gov/projects/TRECVID.copyrightfrm.jpg ) is due Nov. 5 with your paper submission.

4- Interactive systems that plan to participate in VBS 2020 are encouraged to demonstrate their systems during the poster/demo session at TRECVID workshop (12 - 13. Nov).

5- If your team did not submit their No Ad form yet, please do ASAP (http://www-nlpir.nist.gov/projects/tv2019/noads-tv.html).

6- Registration for the workshop is now available and open (including accommodation group rate) :
https://www.fbcinc.com/e/nist/trecvid/attendeereg.aspx  (You will need to enter your 2019 active participants username/password to access the site)

Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance in any of the above items.

We look forward to meeting you this November at NIST !

Thanks
George Awad (On behalf of the TRECVID team)
